ABOUT US

Based in Melbourne, AMPLIFIED is the story of three friends brought together by their mutual love for music. In addition to many years of industry-level DJ experience, we also have backgrounds in classical music, contemporary live music and studio production/engineering. Our journey so far has helped us solidify our presence in the Melbourne events industry; including weddings, corporate events, birthdays, functions and university balls.

AMPLIFIED was formed because we wanted a platform that would enable us to offer more than what we were already doing. In addition to providing adaptable and professional DJ services, we also wanted to create a community for up and coming musicians & performers to grow and develop just like we have. The name AMPLIFIED is how we live our lives - to its fullest, and always striving for more. We hope that we can share this mentality with everyone we work with, and amplify your event experience.

Alex (Co-Founder/DJ)

When he’s not busting out party tunes, Alex works as both a doctor in metropolitan Melbourne, and as a studio producer for local Melbourne artists. In his spare time, he enjoys playing badminton, hitting the gym and perfecting his home espresso recipe!

Sam (Co-Founder/DJ)

When he’s not ripping up the DJ decks, Sam works as a doctor at a metropolitan Melbourne hospital. He enjoys jamming on the piano and his guitar collection, playing tennis and having a hit at the driving range!

Ryan (Co-Founder/DJ)

Our incredible teammate Ryan currently lives overseas and is exploring the world and pursuing other ventures (including being an international DJ!). However, he does come back to Melbourne every now and then, so if you’re lucky… maybe you’ll get him as a surprise international DJ guest on your event date!

Joseph (DJ)

Full time lawyer, part time DJ, but always fully committed to the vibes and ambience of your event. Joey can’t get enough of the 90 and 2000s throwbacks and loves a song request from his idea of the “golden era”.
